Cowan Simulation announces a new helicopter for MSFS: the Bell 222B

Cowan Simulation continues its relentless pursuit of bringing rotary-wing aircraft to Microsoft Flight Simulator. After the Bell 206B3 and 206L3, the H125, and the MD500E (it’s basically a new helicopter per month since December), the next in line will be another one from Bell, the 222B.

The Bell 222B, a twin-engine light helicopter, has a long-standing reputation in both civil and military aviation sectors. It has been in operation since the late 1970s and is known for its sleek design and adaptability.

Although the release date is not yet disclosed, Cowan Simulation has provided a glimpse into their work through a few striking teaser shots. These images showcase the beautiful 222B inside and out in a bit of a harsh environment. The lighting is definitely not the best to judge the texturing work, but the model appears pretty much spot on!

Cowan Simulation typically doesn’t take long to release a product after first teasing it on social media, so we’re likely to see the 222B flying in MSFS fairly soon. Stay tuned for further updates!
